Ingredients

- 12 large potatoes
- 1/2 cup salted butter
- 2 bunches green onions, chopped
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- sour cream (16 ounces)
- 1 (16 ounce) package sharp cheddar cheese, grated
Recipe
- 1 boil potatoes and let cool. then peel and grate them. this is also a good time to salt and pepper them.
- 2 make the sauce: melt the butter
- 3 put chopped green onions in and cook till they are transparent.
- 4 add can of chicken soup.
- 5 add the whole thing of sour cream.
- 6 add the cheese 1/3 at a time and stir until it's all melted.
- 7 layer potatoes half down and then the sauce then the other half down and the rest of the sauce.
- 8 cook at 350 for 30 minute.
