Funky Potatoes

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 12 large potatoes
  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 2 bunches green onions, chopped
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • sour cream (16 ounces)
  • 1 (16 ounce) package sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Recipe

  • 1 boil potatoes and let cool. then peel and grate them. this is also a good time to salt and pepper them.
  • 2 make the sauce: melt the butter
  • 3 put chopped green onions in and cook till they are transparent.
  • 4 add can of chicken soup.
  • 5 add the whole thing of sour cream.
  • 6 add the cheese 1/3 at a time and stir until it's all melted.
  • 7 layer potatoes half down and then the sauce then the other half down and the rest of the sauce.
  • 8 cook at 350 for 30 minute.
