Ingredients

- 1 lb okra
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup milk, plus
- 2 tablespoons milk
- cornmeal
- vegetable oil (for frying)
- salt
Recipe
- 1 wash okra well & drain.
- 2 cut off tips & stem ends & cut into 1/2-inch slices.
- 3 combine eggs & milk & mix well.
- 4 dip okra into egg-milk mixture, then dredge in corn meal & fry in hot oil (about 375f) until golden & crisp.
- 5 drain on paper towels & sprinkle with salr.
