Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh green beans (2-inch pieces)
- 1/2 small sweet onion, cut into thin wedges
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small tomato, cut into eighths
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
Recipe
- 1 place the beans in a saucepan and cover with water; bring to a boil.
- 2 cook for 3-4 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain.
- 3 in a small skillet, saute onion in oil for 3 minutes.
- 4 add the beans; saute for 5 minutes or until tender.
- 5 reduce heat.
- 6 add the tomato, oregano, salt and pepper; cook 1 minutes longer or until heated through.
