Hash Brown Potato Casserole

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 (10 ounce) packages hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 cups corn flakes, crushed
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Recipe

  • 1 mix corn flakes and 1/4 melted butter, set aside.
  • 2 mix remaining ingredients thoroughly.
  • 3 spread potato mixture evenly in 13x9 inch greased dish.
  • 4 spread corn flake mixture over potato mixture.
  • 5 bake at 350°f for 45 minutes.
