Hash Brown Casserole

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (20 ounce) package o'brien frozen potatoes, shredded hash brown potatoes, with peppers and onions (o'brien style)
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4-1/3 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • pepper, to taste
  • french-fried onions, crushed, for topping (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 thaw potatoes.
  • 2 preheat oven to 375°f.
  • 3 mix all ingredients, except for french-fried onions, and pour into a 9x9 inch dish.
  • 4 bake, covered, for 30 minutes, and uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • 5 top with french-fried onions and bake for about 5 more minutes, until onions are crispy and slightly browned.
