Hot And Sour Greens

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb greens (bok choy, kale or collards)
  • 2 teaspoons canola oil
  • 2 large garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon light brown sugar

Recipe

  • 1 wash and dry greens.
  • 2 remove any tough stems.
  • 3 slice stems used into 1/4 inch pieces and leaves into 1/2 inch pieces.
  • 4 heat canola oil in large skillet over medium heat.
  • 5 add garlic and pepper flakes. stir-fry 1 minute.
  • 6 add greens along with mustard. stir to combine.
  • 7 mix vinegar, soy, and sugar together and add to skillet. toss.
  • 8 cover skillet and cook for five more minutes.
