Fight Over The Spoon Creamed Spinach

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen chopped spinach, thawed (see directions on box)
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
- 1 garlic clove, chopped fine
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon bacon bits
Recipe
- 1 melt butter in sauce or skillet pan.
- 2 add onions, garlic, nutmeg and sautee until onions are soft.
- 3 add heavy cream, stir frequently.
- 4 add vanilla, bacon salt & pepper.
- 5 let stand on low heat.
- 6 add cooked spinach to mixture and stir.
- 7 let spinach cook on low heat and absorb mixture.
- 8 serve immediately.
