Ingredients

- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- salt
- freshly ground black pepper
- 1 lb fresh pencil asparagus, trimmed and blanched
Recipe
- 1 in a large sauté pan, over medium heat, melt the butter.
- 2 add the almonds.
- 3 season with salt and pepper.
- 4 sauté until golden, about 2 minutes.
- 5 add the asparagus.
- 6 season with salt and pepper.
- 7 sauté for 2 minutes.
- 8 remove and serve.
