Fresh Asparagus With Buttered Almonds

Total Time: 21 mins Preparation Time: 16 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 lb fresh pencil asparagus, trimmed and blanched

Recipe

  • 1 in a large sauté pan, over medium heat, melt the butter.
  • 2 add the almonds.
  • 3 season with salt and pepper.
  • 4 sauté until golden, about 2 minutes.
  • 5 add the asparagus.
  • 6 season with salt and pepper.
  • 7 sauté for 2 minutes.
  • 8 remove and serve.
