Jasmine Rice And Barley

Total Time: 19 mins Preparation Time: 3 mins Cook Time: 16 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup jasmine rice, uncooked
  • 2 1/4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking barley
  • 1 teaspoon fine chopped peanuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 rinse the rice under cold water.
  • 2 in med saucepan, bring broth to a boil.
  • 3 add rice and all ingredients.
  • 4 cover and reduce heat to simmer.
  • 5 cook for 15 minutes, or until all liquid is absorbed.
