Easy Peasy Potato Bake

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 large potatoes, sliced into 5mm slices
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 250 ml cream
  • 1 1/4 ounces french onion soup mix
  • grated cheese
  • salt
  • pepper

Recipe

  • 1 set your oven to 180°.
  • 2 put a layer of the sliced potatoes in a shallow rectangular oven-proof dish.
  • 3 sprinkle brown onion soup onto the potatoes.
  • 4 sprinkle chopped onion onto potatoes.
  • 5 salt and pepper to taste - use the salt sparingly as the soup is quite salty.
  • 6 follow with another layer of potatoes.
  • 7 repeat layers until everything is finished.
  • 8 pour the cream over the food.
  • 9 top with grated cheese to taste.
  • 10 pop into the oven for about an hour.
