Easy Pickled Beets

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 -8 beets
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

Recipe

  • 1 boil beets for approx.
  • 2 15-20 minutes.
  • 3 drain and pour cold water over them.
  • 4 peel skin off and cut roots& tops off.
  • 5 in a sauce pan add remaining ingredients, stir.
  • 6 and add beets, bring to a boil.
  • 7 simmer for 5 minutes.
  • 8 chill.
  • 9 good for 1 month in refridgerator.
