Italian Broccoli With Bacon

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb broccoli floret (16 oz. bag of frozen broccoli florets or 12 oz. microwave safe bag of fresh broccoli may be substitu)
  • 2 slices bacon
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh mushrooms, diced
  • 1/4 cup fat-free italian salad dressing

Recipe

  • 1 steam fresh broccoli, or microwave frozen or fresh bagged broccoli according to package directions.
  • 2 drain any excess liquid and set aside.
  • 3 meanwhile, cook bacon in nonstick skillet until done.
  • 4 remove from skillet and crumble.
  • 5 wipe most of the excess grease from the skillet.
  • 6 saute onions and mushrooms in skillet until tender.
  • 7 add broccoli to skillet.
  • 8 stir in salad dressing.
  • 9 add crumbled bacon.
  • 10 serve immediately.
