Hot Potato Salad

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 3 lbs potatoes
- 5 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 2 teaspoons flour
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 1 cup hellmann's mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon spicy brown mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
Recipe
- 1 peel and dice potaoes.
- 2 boil until done, drain,set aside.
- 3 in large skillet,melt 2tsp butter, add chopped onion.
- 4 add the flour, stir until thickened
- 5 add the half and half, stir until mixture thickens.
- 6 add salt , pepper and garlic salt.
- 7 reduce heat.
- 8 add 1 cup mayo and 1 tsp mustard.
- 9 spinkle bacon bits along with 2 tsp of bacon fat.
- 10 pour over potatoes.
- 11 spread in large casserole pan.
- 12 bake at 350 for about 1 hr or until bubbly.
