Karen's Macaroni And Cheese Casserole

Ingredients

- 1 (14 ounce) box macaroni noodles
- 16 ounces velveeta cheese, cubed small
- 5 -6 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3/4 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
- 12 ounces broccoli, frozen cut
- 1/2 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup seasoned croutons
Recipe
- 1 preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- 2 add macaroni to 5 qts of boiling water. boil for 6 minutes.
- 3 using a spoon, lightly crush croutons. some chunks are desired.
- 4 add the brocoli and mixed vegetables to the macaroni and water. keep boiling for an additional 2 minutes. (do not leave the noodles in the water for more than 8 minutes total) drain.
- 5 put the macaroni/vegtable mixture in a 13 x 9 inch backing dish.
- 6 mix in the butter, milk and all the cheeses (reserve 1big handful of shredded cheddar cheese).
- 7 add your desired amount of black pepper and mix well.
- 8 sprinkle crushed croutons on top of casserole.
- 9 bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until cheese is melted (you should hear the bubbling from the velveeta).
