Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
- 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2/3 cup milk
Recipe
- 1 sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
- 2 cut in butter, then add enough milk to make a soft dough.
- 3 turn out on a floured board and roll about 1/2" thick.
- 4 cut into small squares, and drop in hot liquid.
- 5 cover tightly and cook for 20 to 25 minutes.
