Dumplings

Total Time: 27 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup chives
  • 1/2 cup butter

Recipe

  • 1 sift all dry ingredients.
  • 2 add:.
  • 3 milk.
  • 4 chives.
  • 5 mix until flour forms a dough ball.
  • 6 spoon drop into boiling salted water.
  • 7 cook 12 minutes.
  • 8 do not remove lid.
  • 9 when done immediately.
  • 10 remove from water.
  • 11 brown butter in a seperate pan.
  • 12 drizzle dumplings with browned butter.
  • 13 serve immediately.
