Ingredients
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chives
- 1/2 cup butter
Recipe
- 1 sift all dry ingredients.
- 2 add:.
- 3 milk.
- 4 chives.
- 5 mix until flour forms a dough ball.
- 6 spoon drop into boiling salted water.
- 7 cook 12 minutes.
- 8 do not remove lid.
- 9 when done immediately.
- 10 remove from water.
- 11 brown butter in a seperate pan.
- 12 drizzle dumplings with browned butter.
- 13 serve immediately.
