Greek Cumin Potatoes

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 4 medium potatoes
- 400 g tomatoes
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt and pepper (to season)
- 300 ml water
Recipe
- 1 peel potaotes and cut in half, or if very large, quarters.
- 2 place in roasting dish, separate onion slices and mix with potatoes.
- 3 sprinkle the spices and seasoning over the potatoes and onion and drizzle with olive oil; mix well.
- 4 pour tinned tomatoes over the potatoes.
- 5 add water to the pan.
- 6 cover and cook for 45 minutes at 200°c.
- 7 remove foil, lower oven to 180c and cook for a further 30 minutes or so until cooked.
