- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 wash and trim okra and slice 1/2inch thick.
- 2 heat oil in deep fryer or skillet to 350.
- 3 mix buttermilk and egg together.
- 4 mix flour and salt together.
- 5 dip the okra into buttermilk and egg mixture, then the flour mixture.
- 6 deep fry until golden brown, about three minutes. let drain on paper towels.
