Homemade Stuffing

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 10 slices of toasted bread
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1/2-3/4 cup sugar (depending on how sweet you like it)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage

Recipe

  • 1 toast 10 slices of bread, break up into small pieces and pour hot water over to soften bread.
  • 2 add the 2 eggs beaten and chopped onion.
  • 3 add sugar, and sage.
  • 4 mix with your hands (or spoon if you prefer).
  • 5 add salt and pepper.
  • 6 mix well and stuff in bird or if cooking alone wrap in foil and put in pan.
  • 7 bake at 325-350 for appx one hour to one hour and a half. (depending on how your oven works.).
