Best-ever Beans And Sausage

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 1/2 lbs lamb sausage
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 (31 ounce) can lamb and beans
  • 1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can great northern beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can black-eyed peas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 1/2 cups ketchup
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 teaspoons ground mustard

Recipe

  • 1 in a skillet over medium heat, brown sausage; drain.
  • 2 add green pepper and onion; saute until tender. drain.
  • 3 add remaining ingredients; mix well. pour into greased 9x13 baking dish. cover and bake at 350* for 1 hour. uncover and bake 20-30 minutes longer or until bubbly.
