Fried Fresh Corn And Onion

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 large ears of corn (husks and silks removed)
  • 3 tablespoons butter (no subs!)
  • 2 -4 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 medium vidalia onion, finely chopped (not minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • fresh ground black pepper (to taste)

Recipe

  • 1 using a sharp knife remove the corn kernels from the cob (i use my electric knife).
  • 2 melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • 3 add in the corn, sugar and cayenne pepper; stir cooking for about 10 minutes.
  • 4 add in chopped onions and continue to cook until crispy.
  • 5 season with salt and ground lots black pepper.
