Fried Lamb Or Chicken Liver Curry

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 lb liver, cut into slices
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced

Recipe

  • 1 heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions till golden.
  • 2 combine all of the spices with the salt and a little water to make a paste.
  • 3 rub the spice paste into the liver and add it to the pan with the garic.
  • 4 cover the pan and cook for 10 minutes.
  • 5 serve garnished with the tomatoes.
