Croutons With Chevre And Red Peppers

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette
  • olive oil
  • 4 ounces of marinated chevre cheese
  • 2 roasted sweet red peppers

Recipe

  • 1 cut a baguette into 1/4-inch slices. brush the slices lightly with olive oil and bake at 350f for 10 minutes, or until they are light brown.
  • 2 beat/mix the chevre and its marinade until the mixture is creamy.
  • 3 spread a thin layer of cheese on each crouton and top with a strip of roasted and peeled sweet red pepper. place the croutons under the broiler until bubbly.
  • 4 serve at once.
