Grammy's Sweet Potato Casserole

Ingredients

• 3 cups smashed yams (about 4 yams peeled, baked and then mashed with mixer)
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 2/3 cup flour
• 1 cup chopped pecans
• 1/3 cup softened butter

Recipe

• 1 mix all casserole ingredients together with mixer on low.
• 2 spread in 9" baking dish.
• 3 combine topping ingredients with a fork until butter is evenly distributed.
• 4 spread pecan mixture over the sweet potatoes evenly.
• 5 bake for 30 minutes at 400 degrees f.
