Datemaki (sweet Rolled Omelette)

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 soft fish cake
  • 1/2 cup dashi stock
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 put hanpen fish cake in blender and chop well.
  • 2 add sugar, salt, soy sauce, and eggs and stir well.
  • 3 pour the egg mixture into a flat baking pan which is slightly oiled.
  • 4 put the pan in 250°f oven for 15 minutes.
  • 5 take the omelet out from the pan when it's still hot.
  • 6 put the omelet on top of a bamboo mat and roll it.
  • 7 leave it until cools.
  • 8 remove the bamboo mat and cut the omelet into half inch slices.
