Easy "light" Gravy

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3 cups chicken broth or 3 cups beef broth
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup cold water

Recipe

  • 1 in a medium saucepan add the three cups of chicken or beef broth and bring to a boil.
  • 2 in a small bowl, mix the 3 tablespoons of cornstarch and the 1/4 cup of cold water togeher. add to the broth, stirring constantly.
  • 3 let come to a boil again and keep stirring until mixture thickens.
  • 4 add salt and pepper if needed.
  • 5 reduce heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
