Gallo Pinto

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 cups rice (day old is best)
  • 2 cups black beans
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 2 -3 tablespoons lizano salsa
  • fresh cilantro
  • green onion
  • salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • olive oil

Recipe

  • 1 sautee vegetables in oil.
  • 2 add spices and beans.
  • 3 stir.
  • 4 add rice.
  • 5 mix it all up on the stove.
