Cucumber Raita

Ingredients

  • 1 large cucumber, peeled
  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1/4-1 teaspoon cayenne
  • ground pepper

Recipe

  • 1 shred the cucumber with a hand grater. squeeze out extra water with your hands.
  • 2 mix all ingredients together, and refrigerate at least 8 hours to bring out the flavors.
  • 3 mix again before serving. you can use fresh cilantro or parsley as a garnish.
