Fast Candied Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

• Servings: 4
• 2 (15 ounce) cans sweet potatoes
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
• 1 cup miniature marshmallow
• 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Recipe

• 1 drain off all but 1/4 cup liquid from potatoes.
• 2 in medium saucepan melt butter.
• 3 add sugar and reserved liquid.
• 4 add potatoes.
• 5 stir to coat.
• 6 pour into medium casserole.
• 7 sprinkle with marshmallows.
• 8 add pecans if using.
• 9 put in oven and bake till brown (30 minutes).
