Fried Sardines

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • olive oil
  • 6 whole fresh sardines
  • salt and black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 heat the oil in a shallow pan.
  • 2 season the sardines with salt and pepper.
  • 3 then, dredge them in the flour, shaking off the excess and place them in the hot oil to fry.
  • 4 turn the sardines over with tongs and fry on the other side.
  • 5 drain on paper towels.
  • 6 garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
