Grandmom's Squash Casserole

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 squash, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup ritz cracker, crushed

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 boil squash about 15 minutes, or until tender. drain.
  • 3 add milk, butter, egg, onion, salt, pepper, and sugar to the squash. mix well.
  • 4 pour mixture into a 9x9 or 8x8 casserole dish.
  • 5 sprinkle cheese and then crackers on top of casserole.
  • 6 bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.
