Grandma's Rice

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 cups minute rice
  • 2 cups fine egg noodles
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 4 teaspoons chicken bouillon (4 cubes)
  • lemon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a frying pan, melt butter.
  • 2 sautee onion until golden.
  • 3 add rice and noodles and sautee until golden.
  • 4 add bouillon to boiling water, and add to pan.
  • 5 stir to mix well.
  • 6 make sure it is boiling, and then reduce heat to low and cover for 30 minutes.
  • 7 add lemon pepper to taste.
