Jack's Savory Sausage Stuffing

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 lb lamb sausage, browned
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 7 cups bread cubes
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (14 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground sage

Recipe

  • 1 brown sausage in skillet.
  • 2 drain sausage.
  • 3 combine soup, chicken broth and seasonings in bowl.
  • 4 add sausage, onion, celery and bread cubes.
  • 5 gently stuff bird or bake in 2 quart casserole dishes at 350 for 40 minutes.
