Kapusta

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 6 potatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 2 cups sauerkraut (1 no. 303 can)
  • 3 slices bacon

Recipe

  • 1 peel and boil potatoes; mash with potato water. add salt, pepper, and cream; whip. heat sauerkraut and drain. cook bacon until crisp; reserve drippings. break bacon into pieces. mix sauerkraut into mashed potatoes; add bacon drippings and bacon. blend well and pile lightly into serving bowl. serve hot.
