Ingredients
- 6 potatoes
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1/2 cup cream
- 2 cups sauerkraut (1 no. 303 can)
- 3 slices bacon
Recipe
- 1 peel and boil potatoes; mash with potato water. add salt, pepper, and cream; whip. heat sauerkraut and drain. cook bacon until crisp; reserve drippings. break bacon into pieces. mix sauerkraut into mashed potatoes; add bacon drippings and bacon. blend well and pile lightly into serving bowl. serve hot.
